Musings for 2018..

Happy 2018!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ As one year ends and we face the next, it’s important to take a minute to look back on what 2017 has gifted us with. Whether it was something bad that happened to us or something amazing, it’s all shaped the year to come.

Anything not so pleasant had a silver lining (you survived, you’re here and probably stronger for it) and the good…well…be thankful for those moments.

When it comes to new years resolutions, I’ve kind of given up. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself. You’re doing fine. What I do each year is try to improve on what I’ve achieved previously. Every year we grow more and it’s only in hindsight we see how far we’ve come. If you have a goal, go for it. Nothing’s impossible. Your happiness is all that matters at the end of the day, be true to yourself and don’t make resolutions based on everyone elses norms. Do what you need to do for you. Small changes lead to something big.

I hope whatever way you ring in the new year you’re happy, safe and with the ones you love. Here’s to a good one 😊
